As of yesterday, I am about 98% moved out of my house in Phily. If you know me you would know that I absolutely HAAATTTEEE PACKING- I will literally pack an hour before I need to be at the airport most days- so moving out of my apartment was a major accomplishment for me.
With my crazy work schedule, it took about a month for me to completely get everything packed up, sold or donated. There were times that I wanted to give up, times I wanted to call the landlord and say, " Hey Girl just kidding about moving... Ima stay right here" and times when I really just wasn't feeling it at all. I had to realize that feelings are not facts. They are temporary. I had to realize that moving forward into the next chapter of my life was more important than being comfortable or remaining stagnant.
I used to be the type of person that ran away from challenges or things that seemed hard. Now I am training myself to run to them and know that the harder the challenge, the sweeter the reward. We can't just give up when we run into roadblocks or difficulties. We have to stand up and face them head on.
I am excited for the new ventures ahead... FLYY GIRL OUT!
